

From shorts to documentaries to narrative features, the SJNFF program includes an impressive lineup of timely, relevant, informative and empowering films. The non-competitive showcase highlights the themes of social justice, and explore issues of racial injustice, implicit bias, Black identity and human rights. This includes Ali LeRoi’s The Obituary of Tunde Johnson, Ghost’s Even In Darkness, Cities of Dreams Are Born, Jessica Rae’s Raise Your Hand, Sunu Gonera’s Riding With Sugar, Tyshun Wardlaw’s Growing Up Milwaukee and more. The slate of films were selected by a jury of industry executives including Endeavor, the parent company of Endeavor Content, which is a Coalition Partner on the event.
