It’s been a very long time since I’ve done a music post….so let’s end this drought now and give you guys a peek inside my ipod.  Disclaimer:  I know it’s mid-December and I probably should be talking about Christmas music, but that playlist rarely changes.  So let’s venture into some new artists who I’m really enjoying at the moment.

First up is Rochelle Jordan’s album 1021.  Let me first say that in this day and age when you can listen to a full album without skipping any track…..you have found pure gold.  Jordan’s street but sweet vocals glide you through the ups and downs of life.  And if you listen carefully you can find some truth in her lyrics.

The next album comes from another up and coming artist named Ro James!  His Coke, Jack, & Cadillacs EP puts you in a good relaxing and chill type vibe.  His voice is strongly haunting and makes you feel exactly what he’s singing.  My favorite highlights are A.D.I.D.A.S, We On, Indiana Jones, and 84 ft. Snoop Dogg.

And Finally……You Wonder Why?……..by Stacy Barthe.  If you haven’t heard this song yet…..go find it now!  I constantly have this track on repeat.  It’s musical arrangement puts you in a trance and it’s words make you reminisce and “wonder” of past relationships.  This song also makes me remember when I was younger and my mom would be cleaning the house to the sounds of Sade.
