October 10th….my birthday is quickly approaching and I honestly don’t have any plans yet. One thing I really enjoying doing last year was having a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis (my hometown). Unfortunately, this year I won’t be able to head a fundraiser but I will be donating to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. “Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive, degenerative disorder that attacks the brain’s nerve cells, or neurons, resulting in loss of memory, thinking and language skills, and behavioral changes.”

Numerous family members of mine have or have had the Alzheimer’s disease. By contributing to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, hopefully one day researchers can find a cure. In other news: I am in the process of re-launching my website, and it should be finished sometime in October. The re-launch of the site will be a nice birthday present to myself. If any of you run your own website, you understand how much time and hard work goes into the maintenance. It’s A LOT!!! 😉 But I look forward to sharing it with you. Stay tuned….
